More than 40 vendors prepare chili dishes for the annual Chili Cook-off

After modifying last year’s event, thousands of locals are gearing up for the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce’s 37th annual Chili Cook-Off, sponsored by Bud Light and Serra Honda O’Fallon, in Downtown Belleville on October 8 & 9 from 11:00am to 10:30pm both days. What began with just a few vendors on one block of East Main Street in downtown Belleville is now one of Belleville’s largest events celebrating the culinary creations from over 40 vendors, representing individuals, local organizations and area businesses. Many come to enjoy the great chili, entertainment and other festivities, but most don’t realize that the Chili Cook-off is the biggest fundraiser of the year for many non-profit or¬ganizations that take part, including the host, the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce. Chamber Auction opens online July 6 as part of Annual Dinner

It has become a popular tradition at our Annual Dinner to host a silent auction.  This year we will be hosting our auction online! The auction will go live on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 10:30am and will be available to all of our Chamber members whether you are attending our dinner on July 20 or not.   To register for online bidding and to take part in the auction, click here. Even if you plan on attending the dinner you must sign up and register online to bid on the items. The auction will closer after the dinner on Wednesday, July 21 at 12:00pm. The Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for its 2020 awards now thru June 18, 2021. Nominations are now open for the Business Excellence & Citizen of the Year awards.
