Silent Auction Items Wanted for Annual Dinner

  As you start to plan your 2020 calendar, we want to make sure you save the date for our upcoming Annual Dinner on Thursday, January 30th beginning at 5:30 p.m. at St. Clair County Event Center. Formal invitations will be mailed and e-mailed later in December, but it’s not too early to mark your calendars. As has become a popular tradition, we will again host a silent auction with the dinner. Your generous donations are the reason it has been such a huge success. Those interested in participating, please fill out a Silent Auction Donation Form. More than 60 vendors prepare chili dishes for annual Chili Cook-off

Thousands of locals are gearing up for the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce’s 36th annual Chili Cook-Off in Downtown Belleville on October 11 and 12, 2019 from 11:00am to 10:30pm both days. What began with just a few vendors on one block of East Main Street in downtown Belleville is now one of Belleville’s largest events celebrating the culinary creations from over 60 vendors, representing individuals, local organizations and area businesses. Thousands every year come to enjoy the great chili, entertainment and other festivities, but most don’t realize that the Chili Cook-off is the biggest fundraiser of the year for many non-profit or­ganizations that take part. Call for Sponsors & Vendors at the Education Committee’s Annual Back to School Fun Fair

On Wednesday, August 7th, the Chamber’s Education Committee will host their annual Back to School Fun Fair at Belleville West High School from 5-7 p.m. Students from the Belleville elementary Chamber Member schools* and their families will be invited to attend. Families in attendance will receive valuable information from our business leaders while participating in activities that will allow them to leave with a backpack full of school supplies in preparation for the new school year. The event will celebrate the new school year with games, activities, snacks and more. The Education Committee hopes to provide up to 1,000 backpacks for our school-age children, but sponsorships and vendors are essential to the success of this event. Once again the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with other local chambers (O’Fallon-Shiloh, Collinsville & Troy-Maryville-St.Jacob-Marine) to host this year’s EmpowerHer Women’s Conference at the Gateway Center in Collinsville. EmpowHer was created to provide women in business with information and tools to help them in their career. The event is set for Wednesday, June 19. Belleville’s Old Town Farmers’ Market is ready to kick-off its 20th Season on May 4th with what will be the best year ever! The Market pops up every Saturday through November 2nd from 7:30 am—noon on the first Block of South Charles.
