A Letter from Belleville Dist. #118 Superintendent, Ryan Boike: Hello to everyone. In the past we, as a District, have come together in a service project called “Drive Away Hunger”. This project was created by our District Character Education Committee. The response to our efforts to “drive away hunger” in our community has been overwhelming and as a result, we have delivered over 165,000 items on school buses to our Belleville food pantries. We will hold the 2023 Drive Away Hunger service project this year. This year to make the donation bigger and better, we will continue to partner with other schools in the Belleville community. WELCOME MARY LAMIE AS CHAMBER BOARD CHAIRPERSON

On Tuesday, December 20, 2022 the Chamber membership elected Mary Lamie to serve as the Chairperson of the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Mary Lamie is the Executive Vice President of Multi Modal Enterprises for Bi-State Development. In her role, she oversees a number of business enterprises of Bi-State Development, including the Gateway Arch and Riverboats, the St. Louis Downtown Airport, and the St. Louis Regional Freightway. Her responsibilities of the Freightway include developing public-private partnerships to optimize the region’s freight transportation network and for creating the foundation for planning, marketing and advocacy of the bi-state region as a national freight hub. These efforts have resulted in national recognition by the U.S. Department of Transportation as a leader in setting multimodal transportation priorities and as a model for regionalism for both this…

Meet our new Marketing & Communications Manager

Our search for a Marketing and Communications Manager is finally over!  Please welcome Sarah Hillebrand as the Chamber’s newest team member. Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge and fresh ideas to her new position. She comes to us after working at Standard Rule Promotions in Belleville since 2007.  When she’s not here in the office, she’s hanging out with her husband at their home in O’Fallon and is mom to two teenagers.
