The Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce proudly announces its 2009 Annual Business Excellence Award recipients...Commerce Bank, St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and Bel-O Sales & Service, Inc.

The Business Excellence Award is the most prestigious award given by the Chamber to a member who best exemplifies at least two of the following criteria: Evidence of success given company’s expansion and financial accomplishments; Development and/or utilization of innovative or creative business methods; Response in time of adversity; Contributions to the community. 

Commerce Bank and St. Elizabeth’s Hospital received the award under the large business division and Bel-O Sales & Service received the award under the small business division.

The awards were presented at the Chamber's Annual Dinner and Silent Auction on January 28th at Fischer's Banquet Center.  William Courtney, the 2010 Chamber Board President, presented the Business Excellence Awards in addition to the Ambassador the Year award which was presented to Anne Thomure.
