Beautifying Our Community
roud Partners,
originally organized twenty years ago for the
purpose of addressing safe, sanitary living
conditions in the Belleville area. Proud
Partners continues to address ongoing housing
inspection programs in the incorporated and
unincorporated area of all of St. Clair County.
The public and private sectors have afforded our
program great support. The enforcement of
ordinances for proper care and maintenance of
commercial and residential properties affords a
positive effect for the growth seen in communities
in the county. For this, we are grateful to
government.

From our original
charge, and with support of our many volunteers, we
branched off to develop pride with beautification
programs on public lands. We encourage
developers to create impressive entrances to the
many new subdivisions. Residents within all
neighborhoods were asked to join the beautification
movement placing emphasis on control of litter and
regular mowing of grass and other vegetation.
