Do I have to recycle?
Your participation is critical to preserve our
environment. Of the two landfills in St. Clair
County, one will close in approximately 8 years.
We expect the costs for landfill disposal to
steadily increase. Recycling is a way to
reduce our dependency on landfills, which will help
us manage long term costs, along with preserving the
environment for our children and future generations.
