Community Developer 

City of Belleville, IL is accepting applications for a Community Developer.  Provide staff support to Planning Commission on Subdivision Plats/Improvement Plans and to Zoning Board of Appeals on zoning and permissive use petitions and variance requests. Also provide support for preparation of all municipal grant applications at State and Federal government levels and Non-profit Foundations.  Ability to interface with realtors, builders, developers, general public and County, State and Federal officials. Requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university in public administration, urban planning or a similar field.  Previous municipal government experience preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience with ArcGIS and AutoCAD. Starting salary: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 depending on experience.  City residency required within 15 months from date of hire. Application/job description available at Belleville City Hall, 101 S.
