Making A Difference
Ambassadors:
An
Ambassador is an official representative appointed
by the Belleville Chamber to promote good will
throughout the greater Belleville business and
residential community, as well as increase awareness
of the program, services, and benefits of membership
in the Chamber. Committee meets 1st Thursday of each month at 11:30
a.m.
Board of Directors:
Ensures the Chamber’s mission, establish the
Chamber’s policy development process, be responsible
for the adherence to it, be accountable for the
Chamber’s finances through fiduciary care, and
ensure competent management to advance the
organization’s current and foreseeable agendas.
Committee meets 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:30
a.m.
Business Assistance Committee:
Addresses the needs
of businesses to assist in developing a qualified
workforce and provides information and resources
regarding training for employees. Committee meets
the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 11 a.m.
Community Services Agency:
Addresses the business aspects of the Not-for-profit
agencies and provides a networking opportunity
monthly along with informational feedback from other
not-for-profits in the area.
Committee meets 2nd Thursday of each month at 9 a.m.
Education:
Addresses the issues facing our educational system
(both public and private) and assists the Chamber
with promotion and instructional materials for
relocation purposes of potential businesses and
private individuals. Committee meets
1st Tuesday of each month at 8:00
a.m.
Government Affairs Committee:
Addresses issues regarding county, state and local
business issues in addition to presenting the
“ISSUES & EGGS” Business breakfasts.
Committee meets 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:30 a.m.
Healthcare Committee:
Addresses the needs of the Healthcare issues facing
our county and community. Committee meets 3rd Thursday
of each month at
9 a.m.
Leadership Belleville:
The
Leadership Belleville Committee promotes and
coordinates the Leadership Belleville Program, an
annual training workshop series designed to develop
community leadership and network through the
Chamber, and growth of the Alumni Association for
graduates. Committee meets 4th Wednesday of each month at 8
a.m.
PR/Marketing:
Assist the Chamber in their efforts to market
value-added benefits to the membership and assist
the Chamber in fundraising activities,
including the Otto
Golf Classic, Annual Dinner and Chili Cook-off.
Committee meets 2nd Monday of each month at Noon.
West Belleville Promotional Committee:
The committee spans
all aspects of life in West Belleville, from
economic development to promoting activities that
gather people together. Committee meets 4th
Wednesday of each month at 8 a.m. at
Lindenwood University.
