Happy New Year, and welcome to 2008!! If you are like us, you are wondering where 2007 went, but nevertheless 2008 is here….. are you ready for it? What New Years resolutions have you made? What plans do you have to make 2008 your best year yet? One of our resolutions for the year is to continue to learn about wine and provide informational wine tips to you. In this class we are going to focus on wines that are good for your health (which is usually at the top of everyone’s resolution list) as well as good for your pocketbook. Space is limited. Come learn about the variant flavors of wine and how they can perfectly compliment your favorite dishes with the winemaker of Ravissant Winery. These classes will be held monthly with varying wine focus points. This month's focus will be on Late Harvest and Ice Wines. Learn how these sweet wines can make that dessert dish you already love even sweeter. Cost is $15 per person and includes all the wine tasting and food samples that compliment wine. The first installment of St. Clair County Court Appointed Special Advocates' Speaker Series will be a presentation on Mental Health & Treatment Issues for Children by Dr. Daniel Cuneo, Clinical Psychologist. This session is free of charge. Refreshments will be provided at 5:30, and the program will run from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Certificate of Attendance will be given to each participant.
