OLD TOWN MARKET CELEBRATES ITS 20th YEAR

Belleville’s Old Town Farmers’ Market is ready to kick-off its 20th Season on May 4th with what will be the best year ever! The Market pops up every Saturday through November 2nd from 7:30 am—noon on the first Block of South Charles. In addition to many of the loyal vendors that have been with us from the start like the Turkey Hill Grange, we have many new vendors to supply you with all you need! Requesting Goody Bag Items for Otto Golf Classic

The Otto Golf Classic is Monday, May 13 and the Chamber is looking to our members to donate items for the golfer goody bags. Items can range from branded golf tees, mugs, sunscreen, tumblers, golf umbrellas, food vouchers and much more! 144 individual items are needed to fill all golfer bags. Calling All Veterans: Veteran Resource Fair This Thursday

The Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce is helping veterans find local the resources they need at their first Veteran Resource Fair this Thursday, April 18 from 9am-noon in the Southwestern Illinois College Gym in Belleville. Donations Being Collected for Emergency Hygiene Kits

If you’re like many, you have multiple mini bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc. or samples of different personal care items clogging up your bathroom cabinets and drawers. Remember that goody bag you got from the dentist full of unopened toothbrushes, floss, or toothpaste that you have been getting and never use? While you do some spring cleaning this year, consider putting them to good use and donating them to the Chamber’s Emergency Hygiene Kit drive! Now until May 9, the Greater Belleville Chamber’s Healthcare & Community Service Agency Committee is collecting these items to help those in need in our area. Recipients range from homeless veterans to women and children needing assistance recovering from hardship. Items needed and donation sites are listed below.
